She was born on May 30, 1940 to the late Ance D. Brown and Ollie Walker Brown in Mount Olive, Mississippi. She worked for several years at Siemens.
Mrs. Yelverton loved her family first and foremost; they meant more to her than anything. She always looked forward to each holiday and spending time with them. She adored her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A God-loving woman, she was known for her contagious smile and laugh. She loved everyone she came across and always greeted everyone with a welcoming smile characterized by her signature lipstick. Her caring, patient heart loved unconditionally. She was thankful for everything in her life that she was blessed with and never had a single complaint. Her genuine spirit will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Carol Yelverton, Frank Andy Yelverton (Dulcie), and Dianna Zendejas (Arnulfo); grandchildren, Cheryl McKeithen (Scott), Kari Zendejas, Cody Yelverton, Kelby Zendejas, Lydia Eaton, Ryan Yelverton, and Wyatt Eaton; great-grandchildren, Kylie McKeithen, Brayden McKeithen, and Bron Purvis; sisters, Hazel Minter and Helen Ray; and numerous nieces and nephews.
