She was born in Caribou, Maine on April 19, 1938, to parents Alfred Ouellette and Yvonne (Levesque) Ouellette. Doris attended Caribou schools where she had many friends and then relocated to Brandon, MS. Doris worked for 32 years at Reckitt Benckiser in Brandon, MS of which she retired in 2001.
Doris always dressed for occasions and had a smile that was contagious. Her passion for children, cooking for others and taking long vacations and rides along the countryside gave her the most joy. She was always ready to shop and had a quick and friendly sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Charles Warren, Sydney Kennington, and Thomas Ware; daughters, Wanda Hill, and Charlotte Phillips; son-in-law, Larry Hill Sr.; and brother, Richard Ouellette.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Larry Hill, Jr. and Christie Hill of Texas; two brothers, Ronald Ouellette of Ocala, Florida, and Rick Ouellette of Star, Idaho; sister, Nancy Thibodeau of Caribou, Maine; and son-in-law, Darrell Phillips of Brandon, Mississippi.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, Mississippi. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, Mississippi.
