Dorothy Turner was born November 3, 1933, in Sunflower, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Robert Frank Ingram and Mary Estelle Hall Ingram.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, devoted to her family. Dorothy’s favorite times were spent cooking and sharing meals with precious family, and her chicken and dumplings will long be remembered by all who enjoyed them.
Dorothy is survived by daughters, Sandy Turner, and Penny Barlow; son-in-law, James Barlow; grandchild, Savannah Thornton; and siblings, June Driver, Judy Allen, Johnny Mack Ingram, and Debbie Bonner.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Ray Turner; son, Jimmy Ray Turner; and siblings, Robert Ingram, Edward Ingram, Kathy Landry, and Dean Payne.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019, from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Graveside services will follow at 3:00pm in the New Forest Cemetery, Forest, Louisiana.
