Visitation will be 1:00-3:00pm Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
Eddie was born Sunday, November 2, 1952 in Brandon, a son of the late William Edward Netherland and Doris Axton Netherland Howell.
He was a long-time employee of Empire Truck Sales in Richland. An avid boat enthusiast and licensed boat Captain, his family and friends often joked that he must have been a pirate in a previous life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Netherland.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Netherland; brothers, Cecil Netherland (Kay), Charles Netherland (Gail) and Mike Netherland; sister, Katherine Hartzler; nephew, Ronnie Netherland (Melody); and several additional nephews, nieces and other relatives.
