Elmer C. "Jack" Fox III, 60, of Brandon, passed from this life Sunday, June 14, 2020, while at home with his family.

A Celebration of Remembrance will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.

Jack was born March 4, 1960, in Arizona, a son of the late Elmer C. "Jack" Fox II, and Vernie Mae Wallace Fox.

When you’ve heard someone referred to as “quite a character”, you understand Jack Fox. He was a multi-talented and hardworking man that loved his family. His innate humor and love of laughter drew people in, and his passionate beliefs demonstrated his faithfulness to what he believed in.

Jack began his life long career in the air conditioning and heating business at the age of 16. He worked hard to establish his own business and saw great success throughout his career.

Always ready with a joke, Jack delighted in every opportunity to make someone laugh, and you almost never saw him without his mischievous grin. Often he would text song lyrics to friends and family to let them know he was thinking of them. Whether singing at the top of his lungs or breaking out in a spontaneous dance, Jack was always “on”.

During his free time you could usually find Jack on his Harley, decked out in his jeans, boots and chaps, or listening to his favorite music.

Jack was a spiritual man who loved the Lord and was well studied in the scriptures. Jack found God everywhere, not just between the walls of a church, and he honored the Lord with his heart.

In recent years Jack became a firm believer in the “flat earth”, and would explain the theory to all who would listen. His passionate illustrations often caught others by surprise, but also enlightened and opened their minds.

All in all you could say Jack Fox loved the Lord, loved life, and loved others. What more needs to be said?

Jack is survived by the woman he chose to begin and end his life with, Rhonda Fox; children, Gabrielle Fox, Elmer C. "Jack" Fox IV, and Ashley Fox; granddaughters, Brianna Jones, Reyna Montalvo, Audrey Anna Taylor, Destyn Fox, Makinsey Fox, Josie Fox, Ella Fox, Chyanne Garrett, and Elaina Vaughn; and sisters, Marilyn Chamblee, Karen Williams, Sheila McElroy, and Susan Whitehead.

My hero, to many memories to mention just one . Life will never be the same no more when all else failed and I couldn’t see the way . I could always lean on him for my guidance. And still today he leads me through this life . And if life don’t turn out like I want it to . It’s not because he didn’t take the time to teach me . As each day passes I understand more and more just what daddy was trying to tell me . I love you Daddy . I’ll see you when I get there

Jack was a sweet, spontaneous, and lively man. I really hated to see he had passed. I would usually cut his hair as a walk in and I knew it was gonna be a fun and good day when Jack came to the salon. He will dearly be missed!!!
