She embodied so many roles - a devoted Christian, a loving wife, nurturing mother, cherished grandmother, adored great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, a caring sister, a beloved daughter, and a treasured friend to everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. Her vibrant personality had an infectious quality, and her smile had the power to brighten anyone's day. Making others feel at ease and comfortable came naturally to her, and laughter and cherished moments with her family were among her greatest joys in life.
Her love story began in Woodlawn, Louisiana, where she married the love of her life, Tommy Moseley. Together, they created a remarkable legacy of love and empathy, shaping the lives of generations to come.
At Paul Truitt Baptist Church in Pearl, Mississippi, she was a pillar of the community, actively involved in various roles such as teaching Sunday School and establishing the church's first children's choir. Her captivating soprano voice graced the adult choir, filling the church with its beautiful resonance. Her selfless spirit and unwavering kindness impacted countless lives, providing comfort and inspiration to many.
She has now reunited with her beloved husband, Tommy Moseley, in the arms of the Lord.
Leaving behind cherished memories are her son, Herby (Vicki) Moseley, and daughter Trudy (Tobe, deceased) Ivy. She is also survived by her grandchildren Windi (Michael) Barnes, Ty (Jenni) Ivy, Jared Ivy, Sunie (Brent) Purvis, and great-grandchildren Allayna (John Elliott) Jolley, Rose (Caleb) Bradford, Ethan Saik, Audrey Ivy, Noah Purvis, and Jonah Purvis, as well as great-great-grandchildren Elliott Jolley and Athena Ivy.
The depth of her love for her family and the love they held for her cannot be captured in words. She peacefully passed away in her home, surrounded by her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. We find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved husband, and together they are singing praises to the heavens.
