Ernie was born at the Old Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, August 15, 1958 to Patricia (Pat) Burnham and Ernest D. Burnham Sr. He attended Pearl High School.
Ernie loved his work as a heavy equipment operator and loved nothing better than digging a new pond for someone.
Hunting and fishing with his Pop was true entertainment for him and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ernie is survived by his children, Torie Burnham Pegram and son Patrick Burnham, his grandchildren Maddie Daniels and Colton Fuller, his mother Patricia Burnham, his sisters Debbie (Dick) Davis and Denise (David) Craig plus uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many cousins. He was predeceased by his Pop, Ernest D. Burnham Sr.
Funeral services will be held at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm, with visitation from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
