Ernest Powell Champion, 82, avid golfer and Ole Miss enthusiast, peacefully passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at his home in Pearl, MS surrounded by his loving family and dogs.
Beloved wife of 63 years Vaudine Champion.
Loving father of Ernest (Tammy) Champion, Jr., Cindy (Boyd) Malone, Kay (Robert) Caldwell, Dianna (Brad) Robertson, and Teresa (Brian) Ballard
He was the proud grandfather to Christy (Sean) White, Christopher (Mariah) Neely, April (Chris) Wicker, Late William “Bubba” Champion, Beth (Ryan) Pirman, Sarah Fisher, Brianna (Jeff) Fairley, Casey Ballard, and Blake Robertson. Proud Great Grandfather to Mason, Brandon & Maitlynn White, Daniel & Michael Wicker, Allie & Addison Pirman, McKenzie Fisher, and Great – Great Grandfather to Miles White.
Dear brother of June (Leslie) Scallions, Late Marion “Chunky” Sivley, and Late Raymond Sivley.
While we will miss you, we know loss is only temporary when you believe in God. We can only imagine the reunion holding Bubba in your arms again.
