Florence Belle Davis, 81, died Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Regency Hospital, Jackson. Visitation is 5:00-8:00pm Friday, February 11, 2011 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 1:30pm Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Skyway Hills Baptist Church in Pearl. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
She was born and reared in Omaha, Nebraska. When she married she traveled a good deal with her Naval husband, the late John Ward Davis. When he retired, they settled in Pearl.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Dunlap; son, Allan “Bud” Davis; grandsons, Travis Dunlap and Marshall Davis; and great-grandchildren, Harlie Davis and Kaleb Dunlap.
