Thomas Gregory McLendon, 62, of Daphne, AL (formerly of Pearl, MS), went to see his Lord and Savior June 18, 2026. Greg was born at the Baptist Hospital in Hinds County, Jackson, MS on November 4, 1963. He grew up in Pearl and graduated from Pearl High School where he played football and ran cross country track. After graduation he worked offshore as a HSE Safety Tech. He married Clarissa McKenzie on September 29, 1990. They resided in Pearl and later in life moved to Daphne. Greg attended McLaurin Heights Baptist Church in Pearl. His hobbies were hunting and fishing. He had a passionate love of dogs and enjoyed taking his dogs for a ride every day-which they always looked forward to!
Greg is preceded in death by his parents Tommy Glen McLendon and Patsy Nyoka Allen McLendon. Those left behind are his wife, Clarissa McLendon; brother, Marc McLendon and wife Lesley; sister, Tonya McLendon Hardy and husband Tommy; brother-in-law, Chip McKenzie and wife Monica; nephews, John McLendon and wife Lexie, Jacob McLendon and wife Jessi, Hayden Hardy, Jordan McKenzie, and Zach McKenzie; nieces, Jessica McLendon, Cassidy Hardy, Taylor McKenzie, and Kelly Hart; 8 great-nephews, and 3 great-nieces.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
