Visitation will be 2:00-5:00pm, Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Monday, August 3, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
He was born Wednesday, July 18, 1928 in Liberty, Mississippi, a son of the late Harvey Thomas Blalock and Nellie Freeman Blalock.
Mr. Blalock was a faithful member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A retired carpenter, his hobbies included hunting and working in his yard. He will best be remembered for his sharp wit and humorous observations.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Elmese Blalock; sons, Lewis Blalock (Vickie) and Dale Blalock (Tracy); daughter, Vickie Foster (Shae); brothers, George Blalock (Sarah) and T. Blalock (Debbie); sister, Elsie Blake; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
