James Ray Hulen

He was born on October 1, 1945 to Fleece Mae Godwin and James Otis Hulen in Sikeston, Missouri.

Known as “Buddy” to his family and friends, he graduated from Sikeston Senior High in the Class of 1963. Following graduation, he served with the United States Army in Vietnam.

In 1973, he married Sandra Willis Hulen who survives him. They celebrated 47 years of marriage and have two sons, Sean Michael Hulen and James “Chris” Hulen. He is survived by three grandchildren, Jackson Fitzgerald Hulen, Madison Paige Hulen and James Chandler Andrew Hulen; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Wallace Hosey, Vernon Hosey, and Robert Hosey; and one sister, Elizabeth Gates.
