

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Friday, March 21, 2025, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Celebration of Life Services will follow at 7:00pm.
He was born February 11, 1936, in Jackson, Mississippi, one of four sons born of the late Ralph Stribling Jackson, Sr. and Gladys Cox Jackson. Mr. Jackson proudly served our country in both the U.S. Marines and U.S. Navy. He was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Mississippi State Hospital an later at the G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Jackson from which he retired. In his free time he enjoyed long walks outside and watching Westerns. A true animal lover he had several dogs and cats over the years, his favorite being “Spike”, his English bulldog.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his foster daughter, Sandy Faye Quarles; and brothers, Ralph S. Jackson, Jr., Charles Jackson, and Marshall Jackson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Beverly Cook Jackson; daughter, Seawana Jackson Martin; grandson, Ty Martin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Rankin County Animal Rescue, 710 Marquette Rd, Brandon, MS 39042.
