Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm. Mrs. Jackson will be laid to rest privately beside her late husband, Dan, in Lakewood Memorial Park.
She was a faithful member of Crossgates Baptist Church and deeply cherished her church family. She was especially grateful for the kindness they showed her, from providing transportation to doctor’s appointments and bringing meals to spending time visiting with her. Their love and support meant so much to her. She retired from the Clinton School System and Kroger in Clinton. In her free time, she enjoyed tending the beautiful flowers in her yard, baking, sewing, and treating herself to a pedicure. Above all, she had a generous heart and found great joy in helping others whenever she could. Janice was very loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Jackson; parents, Ken and June Pilcher; and her beloved canine companion, Tico.
She is survived by sons, Donnie Jackson, John Jackson (Joan), and Tim Jackson (Lauren); siblings, Ken Pilcher, Jr., David Pilcher, Marvin Pilcher, June Pilcher, and Jane Cowan; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
