Charlotte and family, I was so sorry and shocked to hear about Jimmie.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Charlotte, I can't express to you the caring and love that Jimmy and I had for each other. We traveled so many roads together through life its hard to remember the crooks and turns the road took but you know better than anyone how we felt. I have thought of so many things we did from school until now there is no way to describe them. I know he is in a better place and pain free. Charlotte, Bill and I can't begin to express how much having you and Jimmie and Micheal in our lives has meant to us. We feel truly blessed.
We shall always remember, you and Jimmie together in our den as the music took us back to youth and courtship . That the love of youth endured for the two of you was clear at those parties and reinforced every time I asked Jimmie how you were doing and every time I told him to give you our love.  
I adored basking in the light of the love you shared whenever he said your name. Bill and I agree that Jimmie is one of the best men either of us ever met and both of us are pretty hard to impress as you well know.  We take comfort in knowing Micheal is following in his sweet Daddy's footsteps but oh how we'll miss that grin.

Deepest condolences on the loss of your dearest love one.  We don't know one another, but our roots may be traced back to find that we are distant relatives.  My Grandmother was Mrs. Fannie Berry Pounds, born in Simpson County, married Arthur Pounds and moved to Hazlehrust, where my mother was born.  Fannie had two brothers, one was John Berry who settled in Georgetown.  He may have been Jimmie's Grandfarther, his daddy's daddy. My name is Eddie Harrington and I was born in 1942, 2 years after your Jimmie.  My sister has been searching our family tree, and just came up with this information recently.
