Jimmie was born on July 30, 1982, in Jackson, Mississippi to Mr. Jimmie Louis Horton, Sr. and Mrs. Mary Clingon Horton. He entered the gates of heaven on March 02, 2026, in Jackson, Mississippi.
Jimmie enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved riding 4-wheelers, hanging out with his daughter, his friends, going out to eat, and going to the beach. Most of all he loved spending time with his daughter, Abagail.
He is preceded in death by his parental grandparents, Fred and Angelyn Horton; maternal grandparents, Jack and Sarah Walley; aunt, Marilyin Horton, and cousin, Joshua Neil Horton.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughter, Abagail Horton; father, Jimmie Horton, Sr.; mother, Mary Horton; ex-wife, Lisa Fields; uncles, Ronnie Horton, Ricky Horton, and Justin Horton (Ellen); and very dear friend, Josh Blackwell.
