Services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl with visitation from 1pm - 2pm. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Joe Richard as he was known to family and many close friends, was born on September 18, 1937 in Bessemer, Alabama. He graduated from Bessemer High School and attended the University of Alabama. He was an avid BAMA fan. He moved to Jackson in 1966 and became associated with AKZO Nobel Industrial Coatings in the Quality Control Department. He retired in 1999 after 31 years of service. A lifelong Methodist, he was a devoted member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Patricia Davis Ball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe R. and Virginia Jager Ball of Bessemer, Alabama.
