Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 9:00am, Friday, May 24, 2024, at Baldwin-Lee with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Judy was born February 4, 1942, in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, a daughter of the late Paul Odom and Beatrice Wise Odom.
Judy enjoyed a lengthy career in the insurance business as a claims adjuster. She was a longtime member of Pearl Chapter No. 120 O.E.S., an ardent supporter of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and was selected as Grand Assembly Sweetheart for the Grand Assembly of Mississippi, I.O.R.G. Judy loved the Rainbow Girls throughout the State of Mississippi, especially her sweet girls from Faith Assembly No.72.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Robert "Bob" Chatham; brother, Elton Odom; and sisters, Nanette Odom Busby, and MaryElla Odom Callihan.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Chatham; sons, Randy Chatham and wife Sherri, and Elton Chatham; grandson, James Chatham and wife Meghan, Josh Chatham and wife Anslye, Jacob Chatham and wife Halie, and Kristopher Chatham and wife Lauren; brothers, Roy Odom and wife Shirley, and Howard Odom and wife Sue; 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family that she loved dearly.
Judy's family wishes to extend a special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice, Kathy Gilmore, RN, and Diana Root for their loving care and kindness, and to Donna Bailey and husband Rusty for assisting the family in caring for Judy.
