Visitation will be 5:00pm-8:00pm Friday, February 1, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 2:00pm Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Pearl Presbyterian Church with interment to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Dr. Merle Messer will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dan Windham, Tom Windham, Josh Windham, Ben Windham, Daniel Windham, Jr. and Jake Windham.

A long-time resident of Pearl, she was a true Pearl Pirate at heart. A member of Pearl Presbyterian Church, she served as the secretary for the Women In the Church. She was employed as a bookkeeper with Jefcoat Fence for many years. Her hobbies included playing pokeno and bunco with her friends, and she was joyously awaiting the upcoming birth of her first grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jason O’Brien Staten, Sr. and brother, Chris Staten.

Survivors include mother, Eloise Newell; sons, Jake Windham and wife Kristen and Daniel Windham, Jr.; daughter, Sunshine Windham; brothers, Jason O’Brien Staten, Jr. and James Rex Staten; sister, Jan Staten Crawford; and her faithful canine companions, Ruby and Josie.
