Kendall was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 4th, 1965 to Helene and Tom Jones. He attended Pearl High School and Jinkes High School of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

His love of skateboarding in his youth, carried over into his recent fascination for “finger-boarding”, as shown in his hand-crafted skateboard park, built for his grandson. Kendall also spent many hours designing and building his O-scale model train layout, including lighted buildings and elaborate landscaping. He enjoyed competing in RC car and airplane competitions, and he expressed his creativity with personalized paint jobs and accessories. Recently, Kendall began a new hobby, riding dirt bikes with Laura and Landon. Kendall served as pit crew when Landon raced in motorcross, and took great pride in supporting and encouraging Landon’s racing. Kendall loved being outdoors, spending time with Landon, friends, family. He saw the good in everyone. Kendall loved life.

Kendall you'll be missed dearly. You were more than just a friend to me you were truly family in my eyes. You helped my dad raise me and my sister's when our mother passed away. You were there through the good times and the bad. When dad passed away you were one of the first people to say you'd be there if I needed anything. I know y'all are jamming together again. Love you always. I look forward to the day I see you again and we get to jam out like always. Fly high in the sky.
