Kenneth Lamar Bryant Sr.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Monday, March 9, 2015 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pearl with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.

Mr. Bryant was born Friday, December 11, 1931, son of the late, Coffee William and Easel Morrison Bryant. He was a faithful member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Mr. Bryant was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served honorably in the Korean War. He retired from Entergy after 36 years of service. He enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing and was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball and Ole Miss football fan.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary D'Angelo Bryant; sons, Kenneth Lamar Bryant, Jr. and Carl William Bryant (Kim); daughter, Theresa Odum (Bill); sisters, Evelyn Wilkins and Carol Bowers (Jack); and grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Bryant and her mother, Cynthia Mosley, William Lofton Bryant and Mary Elizabeth Odum.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Milton Bryant and Irma Hollingsworth.
