Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
Krystal was born January 24, 1981, in Houston, Texas. She and her brothers and sisters enjoyed growing up together and all of the experiences teenage life brings, especially mischievous adventures. Somehow Krystal always seemed to be the planner, the leader, the instigator of what are now hilarious family stories of teenage bad behavior. But Krystal was also the sister you could count on, having taught her siblings to play softball and helped them get their driver’s licenses.
Krystal’s primary career was in retail food service, and she was a manager for many area establishments over the years. At home she liked to cook on the grill and created masterful meals for family and friends.
Her children were her greatest joy and she loved spending time with them. Whether letting her daughter color her hair or do her makeup, or taking her sons to her favorite fishing spot at mile marker 111 on the Natchez Trace, Krystal just wanted to be with them.
Krystal had an innate drive to help others, and she tried her best to lift your spirits when you were down. Her silly personality and tendency to laugh, dance, and enjoy life were infectious.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Tanner.
Krystal is survived by her children, Brandon Aaron, Tre’ Chaffier, Malita Chaffier, and Bralyn Carey; husband, John Carey; parents, James D. and Maedene Aaron; brothers, Jamie Aaron and Jonathan Aaron; and sisters, Amanda Warren, Brittany Aaron, and Jessica Aaron. Krystal was so excited, anticipating the birth of her first grandchild due in October.
