Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park.
He was born Friday, May 7, 1926 in Jackson, a son of the late K.T. McGowan, Sr. and Margaritte E. Calbro McGowan.
Mr. McGowan was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII and was a mechanic for several years with Knox Glass.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, K.T. "Tommy" McGowan, Jr., and sister, Katherine McGowan Fryberger.
He is survived by his nieces, Mary Frank, Pamela King, Gayle Nolan and Gertrude Fryberger and their families.
