

Visitation will be 10:00am-12:30pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Graveside services will follow at 1:00pm in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Leroy was born February 7, 1930, in Natchez, a son of the late Jeff and Alma Norris Mullins, and resided in the Jackson area for 49 years.
He was a 22 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, having served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Following his retirement from the military, Leroy worked in law enforcement for 14 years. He graduated from the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy, and then served with the Hinds County Sheriff’s Dept. and Madison Police Dept.
Leroy was a faithful member of Southside Assembly of God in Jackson where he volunteered with the food pantry for many years. He was also a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, the Harley Owners Group, and Pearl Masonic Lodge No. 23 in Jackson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Norma Gaye Harris Mullins, and son, Michael LeRoy Mullins.
Survivors include daughter, Marcia McCardle; brother, Henry Mullins; grandchildren, Stephen Williams and wife Chelsea, and AshLeigh Ingle and husband Brian; and great-grandchild, Corbin.
