Linda Nell McGuffee, 67, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at St. Dominic Hospital, Jackson. Visitation is 9am-11am Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 11am in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Linda was born May 14, 1943 in Chester, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Shirley J. and Flora Ray McIntire. She was a 1961 graduate of Anguilla High School, Anguilla, Mississippi. She attended Liberty Baptist Church in Flowood and retired from MS Farm Bureau Insurance in 2002 after 34 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her son, Little Joe McGuffee.
Survivors include daughter, Rainey McGuffee; brothers, Tony and Keith McIntire; sister, Judy Byrd; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
