

Lois was born in Yazoo City, MS to Mr. Kenneth and Genivive Kirk and she eventually moved to Jackson, where she would attend Provine High School. She married the love of her life Stan Litwin and they recently celebrated 61 years of marriage. Together, they built a home and a life in Raymond, Mississippi, where they spent the past 27 years.
Lois was Office Manager for Gulf States Engineering for 20+years when she retired.
She was a devoted wife and mother, a proud grandmother affectionately known as NaNa, and a loving great-grandmother. Her family was at the heart of her life, and she loved them with all her heart.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, needlepoint, crafting, and creating things for the home. Her faith was also an important part of who she was. Her home was filled with crosses, many made by her own hands.
She loved to laugh, and her family could always turn to her for encouragement, support, and wise advice. She had a caring heart and was deeply devoted to her husband and family.
She is survived by her beloved husband Stan Litwin, her daughter Nicole Switzer/TJ Gray, her son Steve/Kristie Litwin; her grandchildren, Caleb Hux, Cole Switzer, Adalyn Switzer, John/Tiffany Litwin, Madison Litwin and her future husband Cole Tyler; and her great-granddaughter, Lily Litwin.
She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery.
