Lollie Ree was born March 17, 1932, in Shivers, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Crit Gay Lee and Mattie Bessie Honea Lee.
In 1957 she married the love of her life, Lamar Fenwick Noble, Jr., and they enjoyed 61 blessed years together. They made their home in Jackson and where they raised their three daughters. They were long-time members of Capitol Street United Methodist Church and Epworth United Methodist Church. Later they moved to Pearl and enjoyed their retirement years together.
A loving, Christian wife, mother, and grandmother, Lollie Ree was devoted to her family. Her favorite moments were spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she delighted in spoiling. Lollie Ree enjoyed cooking for her family and was famous for her coleslaw and rice with tomato gravy. For many years she and her family made annual summer trips to the beach, and she loved having whole her family together.
Lollie Ree had a great appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors. She spent countless days happily tending to her flowers and veggie garden, and savored her times working in her yard.
Lollie Ree will best be remembered for her unfailing ability to inspire and encourage others. Family and friends could always count on Lollie to be their greatest cheerleader.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Noble, and brother, Kelly Lee.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Lamar F. Noble, Jr.; daughters, Leslie Lindsay and husband Bud, and Louanne Chandler and husband Todd; grandchildren, Dylan Lindsay and wife Emily, Chase Lindsay and wife Kayla, Carter Lindsay, Kelly Bell and husband Sandon, and Ross Chandler; great-grandchildren, Easton Lindsay, Hayes Lindsay, and Wrigley Bell; sisters, Ima Jean Calder, Shirley Sparks, Betsy Polk, and Patsy Wallace; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Methodist Children’s Homes at www.mchms.org.
