Louise B. Moore, 86, formerly of Flowood, Mississippi, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 6, 2019 at Alden Pointe Assisted Living in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Louise was born in Good Hope, Mississippi on October 1, 1933 to James Sylvester and Bennie Lewis Babb. Louise and husband, Bobby Gene Moore, became members of Flowood Baptist Church when they moved to town. They were very faithful members at Flowood Baptist, where Louise served as Sunday School Teacher for over 54 years. Louise enjoyed gardening and tending her flowers, as well as cooking. Her tea cakes were famously known throughout the church. Most of all, though, Louise loved being with her family and spending time with all of them.
Louise is survived by her son, Larry Moore (Kim); grandson, Ryan Moore (Kaitlyn); sisters, Patsy Withers (Jimmie), Sylvia Kittrell (Michael), Claudia Weaver, and Margie Thompson (Wayne); brother, Dolan Babb (Onie); as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Gene Moore; son, Michael Gene Moore; and brothers, Jimmy Wood Babb and Virgil Lee Babb.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:30 am at Flowood Baptist Church. Visitation will be held before the funeral service from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Flowood Baptist Church Building Fund.
