Visitation will be held 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 1:00pm, Friday, May 16, 2025, at the funeral home with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Loyce was a square dancer with the Sunshine Squares for many years and loved dancing at the state fair. She also enjoyed tending her plants and hanging ferns.
Loyce was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sherwood A. Gunter, Sr.; parents, Loyal and Callie Little; sisters, Ruby Rials, and Frances Welch; son, Sherwood A. "S.A." Gunter, Jr.; and granddaughter, Michele Renee' Weeks
She is survived by her sons, Douglas W. Gunter, and Russell A. Gunter; daughters, Ramona L. Salers and husband Aaron, and Tammy K. Weeks and husband Charles; as well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
