Lucille Broadwater

Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 2:00pm Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Gardens of Memories Cemetery, Florence.

Lucille was born March 13, 1933 in Magee, Mississippi, a daughter of the late E. Judson Williams and Sallie Warren Williams. She was a graduate of Terry High School and attended Gunter Road Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a seamstress and was employed by the shirt factory in Crystal Springs and Carol Nan Handbags. Her hobbies included quilting and sewing, as well as spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Williams, and sisters, Laverne Martin and Eula Mae Rudolph.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 59 years, Roy Franklin Broadwater; sons, Wayne Broadwater and wife Kathy and Roy Broadwater, Jr.; daughter, Dianne Necaise and husband Mike; brothers, Leon and Henry Williams; sisters, Selma Foreman, Sara Sandifer and Earline Briggs; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
