Visitation will be from 5 - 8pm Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be at 1pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with interment at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Coats is preceded in death by her sons, Alfred and Paul Daniel Thompson; brothers, Gordon and Emmitt Scott; and sister, Helen Ogletree.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Scott Coats; daughters, Mildred Elaine Rayner, Julia Faye Smith, and Janice Marie Massey; brother, Burt Scott; sisters, Ernestine Rogers, Sue Freeny, and Lucille Peoples; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
