How does one summarize the merit of a life in mere words? The legacy Margaret’s life leaves to her family and friends is difficult to encapsulate within a few lines.
An artist. A painter. A writer. A poet. A mathematician. A Historian. A lover of books and the written word. A fan of laughter, with an infectious laugh of her own. A woman with a keen wit and sharp of sense of humor who could easily laugh at herself. A cancer survivor. A passionate advocate for animals. A sculpted beauty, created by the hand of God.
Margaret’s true heritage will be her love for life and all that it offers, both gracious and tragic.
She is survived by her mother, Stella Fortenberry; daughter, Angele Taylor; son, Ashley Taylor and wife Mosi Wang Taylor; grandchildren, Carlisle Carr, III and Austin Forbes Taylor; sisters, Wanda Elizabeth Diamond and Debbie Roberts and husband Randy; as well as many dear friends and associates.
