She was born October 10, 1942, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a daughter of the late James Carver Creel and Earnestine Lumpkin.
Mary went to school in Pride, Louisiana. She worked as a truck driver and property manager, She retired in Franklington, Louisiana with her late partner (Jerry Barber)
Mary enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her sister, Jean Creel, and brothers, James Henry and Robert Stevens Creel.
Survivors include children, Peggy Dwire, Billy Dwire, Barry Dwire (Debbie), Sam Dwire (Debra), and Angela Mann (Jerry); 13 grandchildren; 32-great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
