A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 10:30 am at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Haire, originally from Orange, TX, attended Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. For many years she served as a church secretary. Then after moving to Jackson she spent many years at the North Side YMCA. Mrs. Haire was an avid gardener who took pride in her lawn and flower garden, receiving the “Yard of the Month” award many times.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clay Haire and daughters, Frances Lawrick and Mary McBride.
Mrs. Haire is survived by her son, Paul Haire of Brandon; sister, Katherine Colhour of Texas; grandchildren, Keith McBride of Brandon, Kathy McBride of Richland, William Lawrick and Linda Sue Hanson, both of Texas, Joe Clay Lawrick of Olive Branch, and Mary Frances Wiley of Byhalia; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
