She was born March 13, 1924 in Mineola and died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital, Brandon, MS.
During her career she worked for J.C. Penney in Dallas, TX, and later as a bookkeeper in the medical field in Longview, TX until her retirement. Prior to her declining health, she was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church in Jackson.
She was the widow of Leon Clyde Murdoch and the daughter of the late James Ellis and Agnes Freida Neyman. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, George, Henry, James, John, and Paul Neyman and sisters Gertrude Thomas, Josephine Neyman, and Ann Blackwell.
Survivors include sister and brother-in-law Helen and Wallice Johnson of Jackson, MS, nieces Judy McCollum (Michael) of Clinton, MS, Karen McCord (John) of Madison, MS and numerous other nieces and nephews.
