Maxwell Gray Breazeale, III, 53, passed from this life Sunday, February 23, 2014 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held 9:00am-11:00am, Monday, March 10, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Memorial services will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be at 2:30pm in the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, Mississippi.

Max was born Tuesday, March 22, 1960 in Lauderdale County, Mississippi, the son of the late Maxwell G. Breazeale, Jr. and Ruth Thomas Breazeale. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served our country for more than 15 years. Following his military career, Max served as a television broadcasting engineer for Mississippi Public Broadcasting for 14 years and was employed with WLBT at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Nora Valdehueza Breazeale, and many friends and colleagues.

Max... what can I say? You were and are still one of my dearest and closest friends. I will miss you. We served together in the Navy almost 16 years... Key West, Meridian, Key West again. We spent so many hours fishing and talking. RIP my dear friend.
