Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the age of 69. Craig was born on October 31, 1952 as one of
eight children to Elwood and Ethel Mae Musgrove. He was married to his beloved wife,
Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Musgrove, for almost 32 years. Craig spent his whole life
working and helping others. He would drop everything he was doing to help those in
need. He made sure that he did everything he could to take care of his family. Craig
owned and operated Musgrove Construction as a skilled craftsman and contractor. He
developed friendships with his customers over the many years of his career. There was
not many times you would catch Craig not working on something for someone or for
himself. Craig was the true definition of a hard-worker. He had many titles to his name.
He was a husband, father, uncle, and friend; but the greatest and proudest title he
claimed was being a “Paw-Paw.” His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he was
their best friend and biggest supporter. Craig was so loved and will be missed by so
many.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents and by his three brothers Anthony,
Leonard, and Reggie Musgrove. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Musgrove; two sons
James Musgrove (Chelsea) and Craig Musgrove, Jr. (Amy); six grandchildren Layla
McCurdy, Brayden McCurdy, Brylie McCurdy, Charleigh Musgrove, Raeleigh Musgrove,
and Saylor Musgrove; brother Wayne Musgrove (Gloria); three sisters Caroline
Hastings, Alice Henderson (John); and Janice Little (Glen); sister-in-law Anita
Musgrove; his long-time friend John Crotwell; and many nieces and nephews.
Melvin Craig Musgrove will be cremated upon his wishes and the family will hold
a Celebration Of Life ceremony for him at a later time.
