A Life Celebration Gathering will be held 5:00-7:00pm, Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.
Mikie was born November 8, 1983, in Panama City, FL. He was a 2003 graduate of Pearl High School. A gifted author, Mikie wrote several Sci-Fi books, one of which he had published, “The Wune’s Way. His hobbies included collecting guns and knives, and he had a keen interest in catastrophic event preparedness, including gathering supplies.
Mikie’s favorite times were spent with his family, especially his beloved daughter, Celes. Whatever she was interested in, Mikie was interested in. He loved to watch her dance recitals and sporting events, and they spent hours together playing video games and watching zombie movies.
When asked to share favorite memories, Mikie’s mother recalled seeing him become a father, and the amazing way he looked at Celes the first time he held her. His dad remembers the first time Mikie went hunting, and their last time at the shooting range with their matching Ruger 6 shot “cowboy” revolvers. And Mikie’s wife reminiscences about the first time they met and that smirk of a smile that was truly Mikie.
Perhaps Mikie will best be remembered for his quite, down-to-earth spirit, and his incredible love for his family. And everyone will remember that Celes was his whole world!
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Donna Williams; wife, Cynthia Beach Williams; daughter Celes “Punkin” Williams; grandmother, Wanda Knight; brothers, Kenneth “KJ” Kent (Emily) and Eric Williams (Heather); sisters, Toshia Williams Stone and Heather Williams Thompson (Jake Duett); aunts, Sandy Miller and Tracy Urello (Chuck); uncles, Jimmie Sellers (Loretta) and Mark Knight (Marsha); nieces and nephews, Mia Kent, Chase Thompson, Alorin Williams, Gemma Kent, Levi Williams, Rose Beach, Ethan Beach, Anthony Beach, and Lily Beach; father and mother-in-law, Geoffrey and Angie Beach; brother-in-law, Chris Beach; and sister-in-law, Tiffany Beach.
