Mike Risher, 62, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Baldwin Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Baldwin Lee Chapel with an hour visitation prior. Interment will follow at Faulkner Cemetery, Morton.
He is a long time resident of Brandon and will be missed by his family as well as his friends at Todd's Country Junction in the Shell Oil community in Brandon. Although he had no children, he loved his nieces and nephews as his own. He retired from road boring construction as well as truck driving.
Mr. Risher is preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Buford Risher.
He is survived by his mother, Jewel Risher; brothers, Mark Risher (Rhenae) and Reggie Risher (Monya); sister, Patricia Weathersby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
