Visitation will be 9:00-11:00am Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with interment in Lakewood South Cemetery.
She was born May 4, 1928 in Star, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Ira Cook and Lula Moyers Cook. She was a member of Daniel Memorial Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her hobbies included working in her garden and tending her flowers. Her favorite times were spent with her family, and she especially enjoyed sharing Christmas dinner with those she loved and cherished.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hardwick, Jr., and siblings, Myrtle Miller, Ira Carson Cook, Harold Cook, May Donnell, Mable McGee, James Cook and Merna Cook.
Survivors include children, Fred A. Hardwick, John M. Hardwick, Dennis B. Hardwick, Sharron Hardwick and Don E. Hardwick, Sr.; sisters, Margie Bell and Mildred Ashley; grandchildren, John Michael, Sam, Brad, Crissy Jo, Hannah, Victoria, Jessica, Jennifer and Don Edward; great-grandchildren, Alex, Zach and Samuel; and sister-in-law, Eloise Hardwick Adams.
