Nick was born December 11, 1981, in Flowood and grew up in Pearl. He worked for several years as a commercial plumber in the greater Jackson area.
Nick enjoyed working with his hands and was always building things. He liked music, especially rock, and liked playing it loudly. A true animal lover, his dogs and cat were his constant companions.
Nick will best be remembered for his heart for others. Although strong-willed and sometimes stubborn, he always put the needs of others first, and his family and friends knew they could count on him. His legacy of love for family and the value of friendship will live on in all who knew Nick.
Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Sarah Langford; parents, Gary and Jeannie Langford; sister, Allyson Killough and husband Len; children, Eva Kemp, Timmy Kemp, and Anthony Porrier; and grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, and Lilly Raine.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm til 8:00pm, Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Graveside services are 1:00pm, Friday, January 24, 2020, in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Pearl.
