Memorial services are 6:00pm Monday, March 19, 2012 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
She was born Saturday, February 11, 1928 in Virginia, a daughter of the late Clayton Blair Dempsey and Nannie Faye Sears Dempsey.
Mrs. Hanson and her husband, the late Oscar Andrew Hanson, owned and operated The Sherry Club in Biloxi during the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. She was also a cook for Mary Mahoney’s for many years.
Survivors include son, Pete Hanson; daughters, Ebony Charette and Tammy Craft and husband Jimmy; sister, Nannie Lou Jones; grandchildren, Andrew Hanson, JoAnn Moore, Bryan Charette, Brandy Warf, Christy Craft and Derek Craft; great-grandchildren, Selena Moore, Faith Moore, Hope Moore, Skylar Lee Warf, Maykayla Grace Abshire and due this spring, Lillian Sophia-Marie Abshire; and her beloved poodle, Mimi.
