Polly G. Anthony

Visitation will be from 11am – 1pm Friday, April 10, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be at 1pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

A resident of Pearl since 1959 she was a longtime member of Truitt Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Anthony retired as a bank teller from Mississippi Bank. For the last 12 years she has resided at Brandon Nursing and Rehab where she was a beloved friend and family member to fellow residents and staff. Her hobbies included gardening and word find puzzles.

Mrs. Anthony is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall E. and Flora Leach Turner; husband, Durwood Anthony; and sister and brother-in-law, Jimmie Ann and Freddie Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Anthony; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express thanks to Dr. Michael Albert and the staff of Hospice Advantage; and special thanks to all of the staff at Unit 4 of Brandon Nursing and Rehab for their care and support.
