Rebecca was born on September 28, 1953, in Jackson, MS to the late Mr. Kenneth C. Massey and Eula Lea Savage Massey. She was one of three children blessed to this union.
Rebecca worked as an administrative assistant for United Way for many years.
When not spending time with her family she could be found in her yard tending to the many plants that she loved to grow or continuing to learn new things by keeping up with current events and trends.
Rebecca was the sweetest, kindest, caring, selfless person there is and always wanted to be sure her family was okay in every way. God blessed this beautiful woman. She spent her life always caring for others. She truly was a great person.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Lowell Massey.
She is survived by her daughters; Rachel Delbridge Chapman and Carrie Delbridge Poe; sister, Paula Cooper; grandchildren, Christopher Poe, Inez Rebecca Chapman, Aliyah Chapman, Canna Poe, and Elise Chapman; great grandchildren, John Knox and Waylon Durran, and unborn great grandchild Ariana Knox.
The family will hold services at a later date.
