My mama tells about when Nell, Wilma, Sybil and she shared a bedroom. It had 2 double beds but no closets, so their clothes hung on nails behind the door. It had a dresser that Mama Moore had made by standing up 2 apple boxes. She made a yellow skirt to go over it and put a mirror on top. My mom says that the girls all got on well, especially considering when there were 4 teenagers in one room! Mom says she remembers in winter warming up their chenille robes by the wood stove in the front room and then running to the beds! So many precious memories! So much sisterly love!
