My thoughts and prayers to his family.
Please accept my sincere regret that we have lost Russell in this life.
He was always kind & thoughful.
Never turned me down if I needed a last minute/quick repair. He never questioned my ideas, just did a great job.
He told me that over 30 years ago Tom mentored and encouraged him
(re: jewelry)that it meant so much to him and that he would always be there for me....he was.
I miss you, my friend.

Russell, It seems like I have always known you. I always thought I would just run into you again when I was in Pearl. Sad news. My prayers are with your family. Love, Rosie

Russell Allen will always be one of the most kind, thoughtful, generous, and honest of all people. Looking back, I truly believe that when Russell met me, he understood more about me than needed to be said. He was decent enough not to say it. He knew I was suffering. Well, you know what essentially occured. Russell obviously went about taking a negative and turning it into a positive. Within hours I was at his little house with him and Belinda jamming out to The Cure "The Head on the Door" and His newly purchased VHS tape of Jane's Addiction with "Mountain Song", which was really awesome as I was craving hearing it, but the album was not released at the time. At mention of this the tape was produced as if to say "You have only begun your journey, grasshopper!" Russell not only invited me into his home, but into his world where hope reigns eternal and is filled with wonderful people, the likes of you all. Russell is always right here with me in my heart. It may feel a little heavy now, but that's o.k., He's my brother.
I love Russell Allen. The whole world will now benefit. That's not a threat, that's a promise.

I knew Russell from school in pearl years ago, then I left pearl in the early 80s and did not return for about 15 years, but when I saw Russell when he worked at the pawn shop in pearl, it was like I never left , Russell was the most caring, loving person I ever knew. He was very trustworthy , it was a terrible shock to hear of his passing, we all lost a very special Dear friend, and Heaven gain an Angel. My prayers are with his family and friends. I will miss him a lot he was my Jeweler as well as my friend. Theresa Acy Harthcock

Tina: Losing a loved one in death is never easy but the Bible gives us the strength we need to cope. It assures us that "He (God) will swallow up death FOREVER" . May knowing that comfort you at this difficult time.
