She was born January 14, 1935, in Sebastopol, Mississippi, and was one of eight children of W.D. and Mattie Lang. Sadie finished school at Sebastopol High School and was salutatorian of her class. It was at school she met the love of her life, Bobby. They married on October 30, 1954, and made their home in Pearl, Mississippi.
Sadie loved the Lord with all her heart. She worshipped and was a member of Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Pearl. She loved reading, watching football, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Bobby Kenneth Brunson; her infant daughter, Mary Annette; her parents and her siblings.
She is survived by daughters, Barbie Womack (Randy), and Brenda Smith (Tracy); son, Danny Brunson; four grandchildren whom she adored, Amber Patrick, Brad Eldridge, Tyler Smith and Taylor Smith; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 5:00pm-7:00pm, Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Pearl. Funeral services are 11:00am, Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Interment will follow at 2:30pm at Damascus Cemetery in Walnut Grove.
