Sandra F. Matthews

Visitation will be from 4pm – 7pm Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Hermanville Cemetery, Hermanville, MS.

Mrs. Matthews was a resident of Pearl and worked at Hudspeth Center for 25 years in the Purchasing and Transportation Department. She was known by many as “Nana” and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She leaves behind her husband of 38 years, Henry Matthews; daughter, Rose Spears (Justin); grandchildren, Alyssa Miley and Haven Spears; mother, Rose Thedford; sisters, Joyce Rose Johnson (Kleb) and Eugenia Pell (Jimmy); nieces, Harmony Sims and Courtney Pell; nephew, Eugene Pell; and several great nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are, Tony Anderson, James "Bubba" Cook, Gary Morris, Randy Beatty, Ronnie Craft, and Chuck O'Conner. Honorary pallbearers include the employees in the Maintenance Department at Hudspeth Center.
