The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The funeral service will follow afterwards at 2:00pm that same day in the funeral home chapel with burial at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Born December 19, 1939, in Canton, Mississippi to the late James Edwin Burford and Sarah Sneed Burford, she was known for her love of her kids. It was evident how good of a mother she was, which naturally set her up to be a doting grandmother also. In addition, she loved the Lord and faithfully attended Church of the Vine until she was physically unable, though continually following in spirit. During free time, she could often be found working on one of her many crafting projects.
In addition to her parents, preceding her in death is her husband, Clyde "Bill" Williams and youngest son, Michael Sharp.
Survivors include son, George "Butch" Edwin Sharp; daughters, Sheila Williams and Wanda Smith; as well as numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be so dearly missed.
