Sherry Cassels Osborn

Sherry Gayle Cassels Osborn was born October 3, 1951, in Winnsboro, LA, to Cynthia Irene Bailey Cassels and Plase Mick Cassels. She passed peacefully from this life to her heavenly home on September 20, 2026, surrounded by her family. She worked as an assistant teacher at Northside Elementary School in the Pearl Public School District until her retirement after touching the lives of numerous students. She was a member of Skyway Hills Baptist Church in Pearl, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jeffery Mitchell Cassels and Bryan Keith Cassels.

She is survived by her husband Jesse Osborn of Pearl, MS; one son Allen Osborn (Traci) of Brandon, MS; one daughter Jennifer Price (Justin) of Pearl, MS; 5 brothers and sisters, Plase Cassels of Fort Necessity, LA, Marsha Cassels of Winnsboro, LA, Ronnie Cassels of Winnsboro, LA, Debra Cassels Franklin of Winnsboro, LA, and Randy Wade Cassels, Sr., of Winnsboro, LA; 5 grandchildren, Lane Price, Madison Ronquillo (Erik), Grace Price (Joseph Jones), Curtis Osborn, and James Osborn; 2 great-grandchildren, Laikynn Rae Jones and Christopher Harley Jones; as well as nieces and nephews.

To accommodate local friends, a visitation will be held Thursday, 09/24/2026, 5PM-7PM at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home, 3780 US-80 W, Pearl, MS 39208.

Visitation in Louisiana will be Saturday, 09/26/2026, 10AM-12PM at Dennard First National Funeral Home, 6637 Main St, Winnsboro, LA 71295. Funeral service will follow at 2PM at Dennard First National Funeral Home after a break for family lunch. Interment will be at Harris Cemetery following the service.

Pallbearers will be Lane Price, Curtis Osborn, James Osborn, Justin Franklin, Chuck Franklin, and Buddy Cassels. Honorary pallbearers will be Madison Ronquillo and Grace Price.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research in Sherry’s memory.
